There are a lot of places to visit and a lot of things to do in Pokhara but for someone who is in a rush then we have plans to cover as much as possible. We will start our tour early in the morning after having our breakfast at around 9 am. If we wake up early enough, we can go to Sarangkot to view the beautiful sunrise. Along with the sunrise we would also be able to see the beautiful Machhapuchremountaion. If not, we can go to the closest place from our hotel which is Davis Fall. It is a waterfall that which was named after a foreigner, David who fell into the fall. It is a mysterious waterfall because the water goes under the ground in a deep dark hole with no opening. It has made gorges and it flows through the caves.
Next is International Mountaineering Museum which is a museum which includes all the information about the highest peaks, climbing activities, gears, equipment and lifestyle in the Himalayas and the challenges. You can get to know in detail about the Himalayan culture, attire and many more.
On the way to Phewa Lake we can watch the Gorge of SetiGandakiriver which flows near the city area by making its way of the underworld. It appears in some places and the view is thrilling from Mahendrapul. The river flows with great force by making a deep gorge and dreadful rush.
Moving ahead from the Gorge of Seti Gandaki River, we will head towards Phewa Lake which is a major attraction of Pokhara because it includes the Talbarahi temple at the middle of the lake. You can go on a boat or do canoeing in the lake to reach to the small island which has Talbarahi temple. After returning from the lake, we can roam around in the local market to find some unique handicrafts and souvenirs to take back. The nightlife at Pokhara is quite good as there are many hotels, restaurants and bars in Pokhara. You shall have a great time here.
