We will follow the trekking path along with moss and lichen-covered woods to a Lower camp. There are natural windows in the woods. They look out into thrilling panoramas. The knife-sharp traverses towards Annapurna South. We can see the Modhi Khola valley to our left. This leads up to the Annapurna Sanctuary. It is also not considered wise to go too high too fast. Therefore, we will rest there. Like forest camp, the low camp also has only some essential lodges. We will stay overnight there.

You will be provided lunch at teahouses or small restaurants along the way. You can easily choose your favorite food from the menu provided to you. Our leaders will make sure that you are provided with the right foods. You will be given fresh and organic fruits. They may be brought from Kathmandu or locally sourced in the villages. Your diet will comprise complex carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. We may arrange vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and kosher diets with prior notice.
Many travelers also might think about who they are traveling with. You don’t have to worry about this. You will be traveling with compatible travelers from all around the globe. There is no such age limit for doing this trek. The only thing is you need to be healthy and have the willingness to trek. Your previous hiking experience, as well as mental fitness, counts a lot. We will be trying to include the same age group persons in a group so that the hiking pace among trekkers matches.
Besides, altitude sickness has been a major problem for most of the visitors. Here are the few tips that are tried and tested by our professional leaders:
Safety and Security
Here are the few measures that you can implement to ensure safety:
You will be provided the following trekking equipment by our office
You will be provided an experienced guide for a group of 1-5. However, for the group of 6-12 individuals, you will have 2 professional guides. The package consists of 2 porters for every 2 individuals. You need to pack your bags lightly because you will not be able to carry heavy loads along with the trek. You will not be able to enjoy your journey in the Himalayas unless you pack wisely. You will be sleeping in small lodges and tea houses during the entire trip. Please be prepared with the right clothes as per the season. It will get colder at the higher elevations especially during winters. You can also consult us or simply visit our comprehensive packing list for the Mardi Himal Base Camp trek in Nepal.
The best time is during the pre-monsoon months of March through May. It is also favorable after post-monsoon. This starts from late September till December. However, it is also possible to trek in February and early September.
You will be guided by experts who are experienced and have been to camp multiple times for years. Our guides are locals who communicate in English. They acquire deep knowledge of the mountain, people, culture, hygiene, and safety.
We will run our booked trips under normal circumstances. You will still be going on the trip even if other hikers cancel at the end moment. We will not cancel the whole trip even if there are fewer participants. Please note that we will not be continuing the trip if there is a political riot, natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics or catastrophes, etc.
Our institution offers a lifetime deposit policy. This allows you the flexibility to transfer your deposit to anyone or any other trip. However, you will charge a certain amount, if you wished to cancel your booked trips. You may visit our booking terms and conditions. In this way, you will get detailed information.
The accommodation in this region is considered the best so far. There is an upscale service than anywhere else in the upper Himalayas. It’s all up to you where you want to sleep. You may choose from guesthouses, hotels, resorts, or teahouses. Guesthouses may vary from extremely expensive to cheap. Low-budget houses are usually of poor quality. They are as not much deluxe as those in the urban areas. However, they are well off than the cheap lodges or budges guesthouse. Teahouses' accommodation is most predominant amongst hikers. They are equipped with furnished wood and solar hot showers. You will have a pillow, mattress, and a blanket along with western toilet facilities. As you ascend higher, the accommodation will be simpler with basic facilities.
