Born in the heart of the Himalayas (Manaslu region), his career in Nepal's tourism industry began at a young age while he was still in school, starting as a porter.
Since 2011, Prakash has built vast knowledge by exploring some of Nepal's most iconic and remote regions, including; Manaslu, Annapurna, Langtang, Everest, Kanchenjunga, Dhaulagiri, Api, Saipal, and countless lower Himalayan routes. These journeys not only honed his physical strength but, crucially, shaped his understanding of people, culture, and the essence of Himalayan hospitality.
Driven by a desire to connect with international trekkers, Prakash dedicated himself to learning multiple languages directly on the trail, improving his English, Hindi, and even Russian. This dedication enabled him to fulfill his guiding dream: leading international groups to Tibet and Bhutan, marking a proud milestone in his career.
His rise from porter to trekking guide, and eventually to a respected tour leader, was fueled by his natural leadership, deep knowledge of the mountains, and sincere care for travelers. Nepal One Adventure is founded on the core values Prakash gathered throughout his journey. His mission as CEO is to create meaningful, responsible, and memorable travel experiences while simultaneously working to uplift local communities and showcase the hidden beauty of Nepal.
Ganesh Khanal is the dynamic Managing Director and a key figure responsible for the overall management and seamless operation of the company. Hailing from Gorkha, Nepal, he shares roots with other prominent figures in the tourism industry who grew up in the rugged mid-western part of the country.
Ganesh’s journey in the tourism sector began in 2010, starting as a mountain guide, passionately exploring the Himalayan landscapes of Nepal. His progression from a mountain guide with intimate knowledge of the trails to a key company director and community leader is much like a Sherpa carefully mapping a route: he started on the ground, learning every stone and curve, and now uses that comprehensive experience to manage the entire expedition from the highest vantage point.

With a career spanning from hotel receptionist to certified mountain guide and tour operator, Giri’s experience guarantees a good understanding of the client journey. He subsequently sharpened his skills and knowledge, diligently working his way up to become a trusted mountain guide and tour operator. Now as a Managing Director, his ultimate goal is the upliftment and fostering the growth of Nepal's tourism industry.
His travels have taken him across the Himalayas and to far-reaching corners of the world, including Japan, Malaysia, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Bhutan, Tibet, France, Germany, and the UK, enriching his travel experience and providing him keen insight into the demands of international visitors.
