A representative from our office will pick you from the airport after you arrive in Kathmandu. He/She will take you to our hotel. In the afternoon, we may visit the office or take a rest if you are too tired. You will also be provided a welcome dinner hosted by our institution. You will be served authentic Nepali cuisine that tells you the Nepalese culture. You will stay overnight in Kathmandu.
Today, we will be driving from Kathmandu to Gorkha. It takes around 7 to 8 hours depending on the availability of transportation. We will explore Gorkha Palace where late King Prithvi Narayan Shah ruled. It is a historic place and you will enjoy it if you love old monuments. You will also get to observe the Gorkha museum that provides you knowledge on ancient kings, their lifestyle, weapons, etc. In the evening you may also get to visit Gorkha Bazaar. The overnight stay will be at Gorkha.

On this day, we drive to Sirandada by using the local bus or jeep whatever available. It takes around 6-7 hours to reach our final destination. You will be taken through a curvaceous drive along the mountain roads. On the way, you may observe the Daraudi River. The river is thrilling and scenic. Our overnight stay will be at Sirandada. We will most probably spend the night at a homestay.

Today, we will be heading towards Barpak village. It is also known as the village of army men. Barpak is also recognized as the village of the late Capt. The village has 24 hours of electricity as well as internet and well-organized home stay. You will find yourself lucky when you go there. There are good hotels facility and bus access from Kathmandu. You can find unique sloppy shaped houses with clustered stone. They are the major attractions of the Barpak village.

Today, our journey continues towards another village called laprak. On the way, we come across Basukang. It is a junction that leads to Rupina La. This is a famous Manaslu alternative trekking trail. You can observe wooden roofed houses, Gurung culture, and beautiful landscapes which are the major attractions of this village. We will stay overnight at the community lodge and prepare for the next day.

We will reach Namabai Kharka after a moderate 4-hour walk from Laprak village. The village is an open land pasture of the Laprak people. There are some temporary houses but the village has no toilet facility. It is believed that sick and wild animals bring illness to trekkers. Therefore, trekkers need to be aware of hygiene. It is better to stay away from such animals. Therefore, our service on these days is only vegetation. The overnight stay will be at homestay.

Today, we will hike to Darche Danda, which is the highest point of this trek. The Danda offers breathtaking 180-degree panoramic views of more than 20 Himalayan peaks. It is said that the hill holds religious significance. The prayers to the hill help to avoid natural calamity. You can see some prominent peaks like Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Gangapurna, Machhapuchhre, Langtang, Himal Chuli, etc. Locals share their cultural dances and other delicacies. Overnight will be at homestay.

On this day, we will continue our journey towards Tandrang village. It is the village development committee in the Gorkha district of Nepal. The village has rugged and narrow roads. So, you need to wear comfortable shoes and clothes as suggested by our trek guides. You may also observe dense forests, rivers, and the lifestyle of local people on your way. Do not forget to take your camera to catch those beautiful moments of your life. You will regret it if you forget to take your camera. The overnight stay will be at Tandrang village.

We say goodbye to the stunning lake city of Pokhara after breakfast. After that, we drive towards Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu, we have the remaining day off to rest or do some reminder shopping. You can either go by flight which only takes 25 minutes. You can enter Nepal by land as well as flight. Several airlines have direct flights to Kathmandu from many different countries like London, Paris, Doha, Osaka, Bangkok, Singapore, etc. One representative from our office will be at the airport to pick up. So, you can easily enter this beautiful country.
You don’t have to be a marathon runner. However, you need to be mentally and physically prepared while you are trekking in the mountainous regions. You may have to walk for 5-7 hours per day depending on your speed. Individuals need no such detailed skills for trekking in mountainous regions of Nepal. However, we will be providing orientation before the trek.
The best month for this trek is during the pre-monsoon months. This is generally from March to May. However, post-monsoon months starting from late September till December are also considered favorable. However, you need to prepare accordingly during the winter seasons. Some people also go trekking in February and early September.
This trek in Nepal is completely safe and has very minimal requirements. However, some possibilities of threats will be discussed by our experts. We encourage every traveler to take a professional training guide. They will provide you information regarding locations as you go.
