This ambitious trek includes two of the most beautiful treks in Nepal. They are the Manaslu tour and the Annapurna Circuit. Listed among the best trek in Nepal, Manaslu Circuit Trek will take you around the Manaslu Conservation Area andManaslu Mountain, the world's eighth highest mountain at 8,163 meters (26,781 ft). A representative from our office will pick you from the airport after you arrive in Kathmandu. He/She will take you to our hotel. In the afternoon, we may visit the office or take a rest if you are too tired. You will also be provided a welcome dinner hosted by our institution. You will be served authentic Nepali cuisine that tells you the Nepalese culture. You will stay overnight in Kathmandu.
Before heading to the Himalayas you must be conversant with several things. Training and preparation for the trek are obligatory to everyone as you will be dealing with an unusual experience but eventually, with some preparation you can deal with it. After early breakfast, your tour to Manaslu Circuit trek begins from Kathmandu to Arunghat and eventually towards SothiKhola. After having breakfast at the tea house of SothiKhola, the journey begins by crossing a bridge, before you trek through a forest, then climb into a ridge above the wild rapids of Budi Gandaki River. You will reach Khursane on a rocky trail, with an amazing view of two tropical waterfalls on the step, a towering cliff, and Sal forest. You will encounter the dispersed settlement where you can enjoy local food from the local inhabitance, Ghale, and Gurung. As you reach Nayakhola, you can see trekkers and locals praying to the local deities, rivers, and mountains to protect them throughout the journey. You need to be alert on the way, better walk on the wall side to prevent yourself from slipping down hillside and mules.

The following day after having a warm breakfast you will begin to walk across the twisting road on the bank of Budhi Gandaki River. On the way to TharoKhola, you will be walking through the forest where you see many Monkeys and Langurs. As you come across Khorlabeshi, a Grung village you will witness Gurung people in their beautiful traditional attire. Walking further you will reach Tatopani where you can take a warm shower and relax your body. After reaching YaruKhola you cross a long cantilever bridge to reach Jagat, Where you verify your trekking permits at check post as we will be now walking in a restricted region.

After the warm breakfast in the village of Jagat, you will pass through various landscapes and dense sub-tropical forests, rivers,and villages to get to your final destination. Trek begins from climbing over an edge to Salleri and inclined to Sirdibas. Through Ghatta River you will continue to walk on a long suspension bridge in Philim and from here the trail crosses millet fields to Ekle Bhatti. The trek widens through the valley and you will pass through a beautiful bamboo forest to the Deng Khola.

After breakfast in Deng, you will first, cross the Budhi Gandaki river and climb up to the bridge, where you'll climb a bit further to join a trail from Bhi. Then head west up the valley passing through lush forests, and attractive villages housing ethnic groups of the Manaslu region. As a day of rest, we will spend a day at Sama Gaun. Sama Gaun is the village of the Nubri people which holds a large gompa, many shops, a health post, heliport, and telephone/wifi access. Enjoy a refreshing breakfast and then spend the day at Samagaon getting some rest and sleep. You can explore the village; the Sherpa people, their lifestyle, their traditional attire and ornaments, mani stones with Buddhist texts. Near Sama village, you will find an old gompa—Pungyen Gompa—a monastery with great views of the glacier.

After having a rest day your journey to Samdo begins, once in the trek, you will pass several mani walls. This is a short day trek as you are at a high altitude you need to walk slowly. On the way, you will see extended yak pastures up a broad valley with long mani walls, with different species of birds. From here you will climb to a ridge across the wooden bridge of Buri Gandaki before you reach white Kani, which is the neighboring village of SamaGaun. On the way you will find a stone archway, from there you need to continue your walking till you reach the village of Samdo.

With the rise in altitude, you need to be more careful about your body and do not neglect the sign your body gives. Another adventurous day begins after having a warm breakfast in Samdo. You will move through a seasonal Tibetan market called Larke Bazaar and descend to the Budi Gandaki River. After crossing Wooden Bridge walk upwards until you witness Larkya Glacier. Along the routes, you will be able to see some traditional monasteries. Then you head towards the valley of SakhuKhola and walk slowly across the rugged terrains of the Manaslu region before you reach Dharmasala aka LarkePhedi.

This is another adventurous and special day as you will walk to Larkya la Pass (5160) which is the highest point of the trek. You will cross the pass before the afternoon so you need to wake up early and leave the teahouse quite early as youwill set out on a longer hike so you need to have a proper breakfast. After a climb, you'll reach a valley on the side of the Larkya Glacier from where you'll enjoy great views of Cho Danda and Larkya Peak. You will catch incredible views of Himlung (7126m) near Tibet and Kang Guru (6981m) and Annapurna II (7937m) within the Annapurna Range spending your special time at the pass, you will walk down from around three hours towards Bimthang for an overnight stay. You will be excited to see Manaslu Mountain approaching you.

Keep descending in the track and cross the Bridge of DudhKhola River and walk through beautiful rhododendronforest. Walktill you reach the highest cultivated land of the valley at Karcher. The track comes off the edge in a big, sweeping arc to the river bank; continue walking until you get to Tilije.

Today, we will be heading towards Bagarchap. It is the village development committee in the Manang district of Nepal. The village has rugged and narrow roads. So, you need to wear comfortable shoes and clothes as suggested by our trek guides. You may also observe dense forests, rivers, and the lifestyle of local people on your way. Do not forget to take your camera to catch those beautiful moments of your life. You will regret it if you forget to take your camera. The overnight stay will be at Baragrchap and the next day we will be heading towards Chame.

On this day, we need to head towards Chame which is located in the Manang district. Chame is also the district headquarter of Manang. Chame is the place for trekkers to get re-organized. You need to recheck all the essential items here and get ready for the trek. You can find safe drinking water station and hospital in this area. You can mainly find Gurung and Magars who are involved in trade and business. We will stay overnight at Chame.

A steep and slender path through a very dense forest will bring us to the theatrical curved rock face. It is above 1500m from the river. You will probably find the steepest part of the Marshyangdi Valley. It is so steep that the trail is engraved into the erect rock. After passing this last crumb of rock, the valley opens up with royal vistas. Th Paungda Danda stands right where the valley widens. It is a massive sloping rock face that rises over 5,000ft (1500m) above the trail. We hike for a while before the attainment of Lower Pisang. There we spend the night.

There are two routes to Manang. However, we follow the track that takes us to Upper Pisang via Geru. This trail guarantees exceptional views of the beautiful countryside and the powerful mountains including Annapurna and Pisang. We begin to notice a difference in the countryside and vegetation from today. The cold and dry climate also creates a much harsher situation. Our small visit to Barge monastery, the largest monastery in the whole district of Manang will be memorable. Overnight at Manang.

We keep ourselves busy today with a short hike to either Bhojo Gumba or Gangapurna Lake to remain fit. If we have the vigor, we can even hike to Vraga Village. There we can visit the Himalayan Rescue Association. This will give us some idea about Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). You need to be prepared with all the essential materials required for hiking. Overnight in Manang. Today, we will be prepared for our next journey tomorrow towards Ledar.

In the morning, we have to begin our trek from Manang village. We take our breakfast and prepare for the trip. We move towards Ledar which is the neighborhood in Tanki Manang. Finally, after a few hours of hike, we reach Ledar which is a beautiful village with all those natural beauties. The overnight stay will be at Ledar.

Thorong La pass is said to be of the highest passes in the world. Crossing it will be our ultimate objective today. We will be crossing the path from east to west. This includes from Manang to Muktinath. It is the easiest and safest direction. We need to get up at around 3 in the morning. After that, we walk up the mountain. When we lastly make it to the top, we understand that our journey was worth it. We can take a few glimpses and capture the beautiful moment. Overnight will be in Muktinath.

You can visit Muktinath temple where you will see natural gas fire. You will get this opportunity usually in the evening. Muktinath temple is famous for both Hindus and Buddhists. You can also see some Hindu monuments. You can observe the awesome view on your way. Kagbeni is also an important village on this trek. It is considered as a gateway to upper mustang trekking. This village welcomes you with natural vegetation, forests, waterfalls, and other many beautiful sites. Many visitors take their camera along with them to capture the beautiful moments of the trek. You need to climb steeply through the forest to reach Marpha. We head towards Jomsom before that. It is the windiest valleys in Nepal. You will be hit by the strong winds sweeping across the valley. The steep climb takes you to Leta Khola and then finally you reach Lete. On the way, you can see apple farms and some important villages. You will reach the most important place called Marpha. Marpha village is famous for apple and its products. We will spend overnight there.

The path now follows the deepest Gorge called Kali Gandaki. You will be passing by 2200 m in between two 800 m mountains. They are only 38 km apart. Thakali food is very popular because of the way they serve their different ingredients.

We then head towards Tatopani from Ghasa. People also lose around 7 to 10 percent of body weight during the hike. This is a common phenomenon that also depends on your appetite and other factors. We walk towards Ghorepani following fertile trails along the way. On the way, you could see streams, waterfalls, and rhododendron and pine forests. We carry on our trek to Nayapool. From there we drive to Pokhara where we will stay overnight. It is better to explore some more days to Pokhara if you want. It is one of the best places to discover natural beauty. Do not forget to visit Davis falls, Mahendra cave as well as the lakeside of Pokhara. We do organize other adventures and sports activities besides trek. Please feel free to contact the tour operator or guide. They are 24/7 ready in service. After reaching Kathmandu, we have the remaining day off to rest or do some reminder shopping. You can either go by flight which only takes 25 minutes. However, if we drive by bus we can observe cultural and natural beauties around more vividly. Although the mountain trek is over, you are yet to encounter the beauty of the capital city. You will feel delighted to visit the seven sites that are enlisted in the world heritage by UNESCO. You will be dazzled to see the artistic and creative work of local Newari people their lifestyle, their culture, and their food. You can buy beautiful gifts (local painting, beautiful clothes, sculptures, carvings) for your loved ones and yourselves as a memory of trek from the streets of Kathmandu valley. You will be provided lunch at teahouses or small restaurants along the way. You can easily choose your favorite food from the menu provided to you. Our leaders will make sure that you are provided with the right foods. You will be given fresh and organic fruits. They may be brought from Kathmandu or locally sourced in the villages. Your diet will comprise complex carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. We may arrange vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and kosher diets with prior notice.
Many travelers also might think about who they are traveling with. You don’t have to worry about this. You will be traveling with compatible travelers from all around the globe. There is no such age limit for doing this trek. The only thing is you need to be healthy and have the willingness to trek. Your previous hiking experience, as well as mental fitness, counts a lot. You will be provided an experienced guide for a group of 1-5. However, for the group of 6-12 individuals, you will have 2 professional guides. The package consists of 2 porters for every 2 individuals. You need to pack your bags lightly because you will not be able to carry heavy loads along with the trek. You will not be able to enjoy your journey in the Himalayas unless you pack wisely. You will be sleeping in small lodges and tea houses during the entire trip. Please be prepared with the right clothes as per the season. It will get colder at the higher elevations especially during winters. You can enter Nepal by land as well as flight. Several airlines have direct flights to Kathmandu from many different countries like London, Paris, Doha, Osaka, Bangkok, Singapore, etc. One representative from our office will be at the airport to pick up. So, you can easily enter this beautiful country.
You don’t have to be a marathon runner. However, you need to be mentally and physically prepared while you are trekking in the mountainous regions. You may have to walk for 5-7 hours per day depending on your speed. Individuals need no such detailed skills for trekking in mountainous regions of Nepal. However, we will be providing orientation before the trek.
The best month for this trek is during the pre-monsoon months. This is generally from March to May. However, post-monsoon months starting from late September till December are also considered favorable. However, you need to prepare accordingly during the winter seasons. Some people also go trekking in February and early September.
