On this day, we will be driving towards Charikot from Kathmandu by private bus or vehicle. We will be driving around 6 hours to arrive at our destination. The Charikot is situated at an altitude of 1970m. We will look around there and explore the surrounding environment. You will get the opportunity to visit Dolakha Bhimsen Temple. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Charikot Bazaar.
On this day, we will climb up to the top at the famous temple of this region. It is called Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple. It is believed that people get blessings from the Goddess. Similarly, you will get to enjoy 360-degree panoramic views of the Himalayas from Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple. Then, we will descend to Kuri village. Overnight stay will be at this village. In the evening, you may observe the culture and traditions of local communities.
On this day, we will hike back to Charikot Bazaar. You may also go for a food hunt and explore other attractions of this region. After that, we will catch up on a local bus or van to reach Kathmandu. On the way, you may observe the variety of flora and fauna as well as spectacular landscape.

You need to pack your bags lightly because you will not be able to carry heavy loads along with the trek. You will not be able to enjoy your journey in the Himalayas unless you pack wisely. The hike is not difficult physically. However, the altitude will make it hard. This hike has rising and falling flats and abruptly ascends but it is generally manageable for the hiker of any age. They require little experience. However, it is advised for the hiker to be physically fit and have some training before planning it.
The best month for the trek is during the pre-monsoon months. This is generally from March to May. However, post-monsoon months starting from late September till December are also considered favorable. You need to prepare accordingly during the winter seasons. Some people also go hiking in February and early September.
