This Bardiya National Park is an incredible journey of around 3 nights 4 days to the largest untouched wilderness in the Terai region of Nepal. You can observe sal forests, grasslands, and Karnali River. The tour provides you the opportunity to witness the Royal Bengal Tigers and One-Horned Rhinos that are the endangered animals of Nepal. Welcome to Nepal! We take early flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj today. If weather supports, you will take the most advantage of this flight as the flight takes you to west part of Nepal. The view of Mt. Langtang, Manaslu, and Annapurna Himalayan ranges along the right side of the aircraft when flying westward.
We might reach Bardiya today for a late lunch. We reach hotel today and rest. After some time we start our programs. We will explore nearby villages today and head towards Elephant Breeding Center. At evening, we will stay for the bird watching.

After breakfast, we give full day in jungle walking targeting tiger tracking. Our primary goal is to spot tigers so we follow the trails that inhabit them i.e. Geruwa River. Along with that, we enjoy bird watching, and also visit crocodile breeding center. We will enjoy a packed lunch while sepnding whole day in a jungle.
In the evening, we may rest for a while and visit Tharu Cultural Museum. The Tharu are an agrarian ethnic group of southern part of Terai region in Nepal. They have interesting and untouched lifestyle which we will observe.

After breakfast, we will again go for a safari through jeep accompanied by the expert travel guide. Your guide knows the full information of where usually the animals like tiger, elephant, rhino stays in the day. We follow the guide's route and travel the hot tracking spot of Bengal tiger.
Around mid day we take a break and eat our packed lunch and again continue our jeep safari. With luck, we may snap a tiger until we return to our hotel. We will end our trip after the beautiful dinner.

After breakfast, we go to half jeep safari and half day jungle walk through the wilderness of Bardiya National Park. Accompanied by an expert guide, we will cover observation points, and prime wildlife habitats within Bardia National Park.

Bardiya National Park is located in western Nepal's Terai region, near the border with India.
You can fly, take a bus, or hire a private vehicle to reach Bardiya. Taking a flight is the must convinent way than others. However for flight, you can only take a flight to Nepalgunj and take 2 hours drive to reach Bardiya.
You can finish the tour in 2 days, but we highly recommend to stay longer for better wildlife sightings.
October to April is considered the best season. March and April are particularly good for tiger sightings because animals gather around water sources and vegetation becomes thinner.
They offer different experiences. Bardiya is less crowded, more remote, and often feels more authentic. Chitwan has better infrastructure and is easier to access.
